CONFIDENCE / CHOICE / CONSENT

I am engaged in how a quilt-work pedagogy—piecing together trauma-informed pedagogy, anti-racist pedagogy, first-generation student best practices, and ungrading—can help deliver the best educational experience for students with better assessments and learning outcomes.

I teach creative writing (poetry, fiction, and non-fiction), film, mythology, special topics, and required writing courses at Washburn University.

Please see my Community tab for the workshops I lead in public.
